About.

Lucinda Robertson’s love and passion for dance started at 3 years of age. She nurtured and grew her passion during her school career. She even spent a year pursuing her love for dance at the art school in Pretoria Pro Arte Alphen Park. She was introduced to many other dance forms as African, Contemporary, Greek and Spanish dancing.

She followed her dream to the University of Cape Town where she completed a four year degree course a Bachelor of Music in Dance. This included her RAD Advance and Student Teacher’s Certificate.

The degree also offered her knowledge and experience the many forms of dance, and also, the theory and history of dance. She majored in Dance Teaching Method. During her four years at UCT she had the pleasure of receiving Benesh Notation instruction for 3 year’s from Mr Eduard Greyling.
